The finca is situated in a rural area in the middle of Boyaca , about 7 km from Villa de Leyva. It is on the way to Arcabuco between Villa de Leyva, the Periquera waterfalls and Iguaque National Park. The narrow road takes you slowly to this unique and quiet place surrounded by trees and water streams.
The finca covers 1.5 hectares and about a third is used for our organic vegetable garden where we have among others peas , tomatoes , corn , lettuce , cucumber and zucchini.
From this location you can take numerous day trips including: Villa de Leyva or Rquira, several nearby waterfalls, and a hike through nature. Or you might simply chose to stay at the finca to read a book and enjoy the beautiful views of the Iguaque Mountains. Enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine near the fireplace under a sky full of stars and fireflies, which are especially bright just after sunset.
The only sounds you will hear are croaking frogs, chirping crickets, and the streams flowing past the cottages.
